Michael J. Palladino comes to UCOF most recently as an experienced and forward-thinking academic administrator possessing broad knowledge of artistic and creative fields with strong business and management foundation. As the Director of Student Life and Adjunct Professor at LIM College Michael created many innovative programs and series which capitalized on his relationships in and out of Fashion. His thirty plus years of experience in the retail industry with leading retail companies such as Macy*s, Lord & Taylor and Henri Bendel where he was the Director of Client and Studio Services for nearly 17 year, has built an incredible professional and personal network of colleagues and friends who are always eager to lend their support to new initiatives. Michael is flexible, with strong team-building skills, able to work within a diverse environment and population to develop leaders and guide groups forward to complete shared goals. He has also been very Involved in a wide variety of organizations within the community, as well as national organizations on many levels, including awareness, advocacy and fundraising.
He is currently the Creative/Marketing Director for Mindy Lam Jewelry Collections and will soon be launching a new fashion venture to be announced. Michael is proud to join the Board of UCOF and assume the role of VP Fashion Education. He is thankful to be in the company of impassioned creative people who share an interest in fashion education and helping build the next generation of fashion leaders.
Michael received his B.A. from SUNY Stony Brook and received his Master’s from Middlebury College in Florence Italy. Michael is married and lives in Bayside NY.
